Amelie Maison d`art
Amelie was one of the first accounts I followed on Instagram @ameliemaisondart and I´ve always admired her exquisite taste for contemporary art and design. Last September I was in Paris for a weekend, and I got an invitation from Amelie to visit her Atelier and Art room.
It was one of my best art experiences in Paris.
Amelie is the founder of Amelie Maison d `art. The art house Amélie is an innovative concept of a contemporary art gallery that associates with its spaces - Art Rooms (Paris and London) - and a website that allows you to discover a large part of the work of its artists. Her selection includes a large diversity of mediums and techniques such as paintings, sculptures, work on paper, video, photography, etc..
Organic shapes, textiles and hues. Painting by Frederic Heurlier Cimolai (one of my favorites) and stool by Charlotte Perriand, bowl by Paule Fattaccioli.
Green marble table by RS Barcelona. Sculpture (on floor) by Michel Kirsch, ink on paper by Natalia Jaime-Cortez.
The kitchen in Amelies apartment. Fine surfaces against the impactful lithography by Pascal Fancony. Pendants by Bocci Italy.
Beautiful white earthenware by Hélène Labadie.
Soft black and white minimalism. Ink on paper by Garance Valley.
Amelies balcony - minimalism with elements of sculptural furniture, such as the Pod chairs by Willy Guhl.
The hall. Stunning composition of oak, concrete and tiles. Sculpture by Victorie d´Harcourt.
The kitchen and work area. Beautiful bronze sculpture on the table by Victoire d'Harcourt and paintings by Ludovic Philippon and Yvonne Robert. Leather chairs by designer Damien Le Bocq. Love the rustic wooden beam, gives the room warmth and authenticity.
Beautiful wooden doors. And the "sleepy eyes" on the ceiling. Its all in the details as they say..
Dreambed.. White walls with touches of delicate colors such as beige, pink and blue. IC wall lamps from Flos.
A very humble, happy and inspired girl.
Playful and chic interior, decorated with natural elements and painting by Yvonne Robert and Frederic Heurlier Cimolai.
Her apartment is a white canvas with a diversity of different paintings, art and prints, complimented by the unique range of furniture. Table by Pierre Augustin Rose and leather Divani sofa.
Thank you for inviting me, Amelie, it was truly inspiring. You have an exquisite eye to the aesthetic aspect and Im looking forward to she you and your Atelier again :)
